A Rosary is said at 10:10 before the 10:30 mass every Sunday. Please join us.
During the month of August, Derek Durham will offer training for Cantors. Beginning in September, Cantors will be selected to form a quartet to sing for select liturgies. The quartet will be comprised of a tenor, soprano, alto and baritone. These individuals will ultimately serve as section lead singers for a choir that will form in late September.
Anyone interested in participating in music liturgy needs to contact Mr. Durham by way of the Church office.
Coffee, donuts and soft drinks will be served following the 10:30 A.M. Mass. All are welcome.
There will be a Teachers'meeting in the extension hall following the 10:30 A.M. Mass, August 24th, the first day of classes.
Individual teachers with needs or concerns may consult with Fr. Bill immediately following adjournment of class. There will also be a very important meeting with Sr. Cathy Galaskiewicz(from the Diocese) on September 7th, after the 10:30 Mass in the Parish Extension Hall.
Parish Religious Education classes begin this Sunday, August 24th, at St. Alphonsus Church. The classes will be held in the Parish Hallfrom 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Late registration will take place in the Parish Hall Extension following the 10:30 a.m. liturgy. Fr. Bill will be available in the hall for late registration and approving justifiable reductions in book fees.
Book fees are $30.00 per child.

Youth Group Meetings are cancelled August 24th. The Petzingers will be out of town.
The Parish Finance Council meeting has been rescheduled. The August 20th meeting was cancelled due to Fr. Bill's medical status. The meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, August 27th, at the rectory. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., following the 6:30 p.m. meal.
The annual State of the Parish Address will take place on two consecutive weekends beginning on Saturday, Sept. 6th and Sunday, Sept. 7th.
Fr. Bill and our parish team will begin meeting with diocesan representatives prior to the address and in weeks that follow.
Fr. Bill has called for a special meeting of the Knights of Columbus for August 20, 2008. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the rectory.
